I eat at Sirayvah anywhere from 1 to 2 times per week. The food is delicious and the owners are delightful and friendly. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice (my usual choice) but I have tried at least half of the menu items and all were tasty. The food is very flavorful and always tastes fresh. The soup (pumpkin or beet) is so fantastic that you will be dreaming about the next time you get to have it again.

Outstanding vegetarian choices, they will leave out the egg in many dishes to comply with a vegan lifestyle as well. No need to worry about produce, everything is very fresh and organic where guidelines exist; root vegetables, for example, cannot be classified as organic. Prices are on the high, but worth the cost where quality is concerned, not to mention the beautiful decor. An excellent choice for a special occasion.

Jovi is a magician with sauces. From the piquant flavors in the simple appetizer Meung Kum to the rich lusty green curried Halibut, Jovi creates a pottage for each dish that explodes in your mouth. I have been dining here for a year and each time I bring a new guest, they too site with wide eyed amazement as their taste buds are awakened and thrilled. Don't miss an opportunity to visit this quiet little culinary paridise. Don't let the word "organic" allow you to think "vegan" or bland. Dining at Sirayvah will exite you and you will be pulling your friends with you each time you go back.

This charming, peaceful, wholesome and elegant restaurant is an oasis for me. The owners' ethics, aesthetics, and compassion are all reflected beautifully in the atmosphere and the delicious fare. It is also my "new favorite restaurant," and I introduce my dearest friends to it.

EXCELLENT FOOD! Equal to the BEST Thai food I experienced in Thailand!

Organics star in Sirayvah's top-notch Thai cuisine

The soothing atmosphere provides a suitable stage for the refined food of Jovii Lopraset and his wife, Jiraporn Wonnonam, who opened Sirayvah in San Carlos earlier this year. This upscale Thai restaurant exudes elegance without pretension. Unlike many Thai restaurants in the Bay Area, Sirayvah -- named after the couple's oldest daughter -- uses mostly organic ingredients, free- range meats and wild seafood. And instead of family-style portions, entrees are meant for one, and are executed with flair and attention to detail.

As an added bonus, the top-notch food is plated simply but attractively...... Across the board, we found winners in each part of the menu.......

If there is a weak link at Sirayvah, it is the service, which is pleasant but nondescript, and lacks the same precision as the cooking. The wine list is also very limited, which is too bad considering the sophisticated fare. But the restaurant does offer a nice selection of teas, which are served in ornate hand-painted pots and cups that suit the polished interior.

All in all, the variables add up nicely at Sirayvah, making it a great escape, be it from the sweltering heat or from the stressful pulse of everyday life.

Went for dinner once and food was great. They must be closed now cause I've tried to go back FOUR times now with a car load of people and they've always been closed! I'm not be surprised if they're out of business really soon at this rate.
Response from BookOfMenus.com
We had contacted the owner. They are having a family emergency and had to shorten their Lunch hours to just Wed. This is temporary and they should be back to normal hours in another month. They wanted to express their sincere sorry for the inconvenience. Please check the new hours posted on this web site and bring your friends again.
